Are you interested in becoming a beekeeper?
Winter is the perfect time to learn about beekeeping. It gives you plenty of time to learn about keeping bees, purchase and prepare your supplies, and get your bees on order. You’ll also have time for our friendly local beekeepers give you plenty of advice before you become a beekeeper in the spring.
Our 2026 beginner class is a two-day class held on January 24th and 31st, 2026. The cost is $75 per person and includes lunch both days, a 2026 membership to the Davie County Beekeepers Association, and a reference book.
The class will be held in downtown Mocksville, NC from 9:00am to 4:00pm both days (you will want to attend both days). More details will come after you register.
